Copper Cross

£20.00
sold out

Some people say the copper has healing properties. I think it just feels nice, and looks lovely. Being an excellent conductor and a softer metal, copper warms to skin temperature quickly, and you hardly notice it’s there. It’s also got a beautiful hammered finish.

These copper crosses are special to me, being a Christian. The humble material and processes sit well with me. I use a hack-saw, vise, files, anvil, and ball-pein hammer to make these. Order one here, or have a go yourself! Check the blog for instructions!

I can do these quite quickly, so yours’ll be in the post in a couple of days. They measure about 30mm across, 44mm tall, and 2mm deep (8mm at the cord-loop). Small will be slightly smaller, and large, slightly bigger!

Warning - copper might make your skin a little green, and can tarnish over time as it oxidises in air. Give it a little buff with brasso to keep it nice and shiny (or burn it and turn it grey!).

Let me know the knot you’d like in the comments box. If left blank, you’ll get an adjustable knot.
