Fire-Steel
These are old English “monkey-tail” style firesteels with a Nordic handle. They’re ever-so-comfortable, and I’ve designed them to be a pleasure to use either way up, depending on your preference. These are the best strikers I’ve ever tried (not that I’m biased!!).
These are made from heat-treated o1 tool steel, with a 90° ground striking edge. They throw a fantastic shower of sparks from flint or a ferr-rod (as do the spines of our knives).
These make a wonderful addition to a set with one of our Viking-style knives (pictured below). Knife not included in price listed here.
